ING MidWest was founded in 2017. It is a non-profit educational organization serving Michigan and Northern Ohio. It is an affiliate of the Islamic Networks Group (ING), a national organization pursuing peace and countering all forms of bigotry through education and interfaith engagement. ING MidWest Offers resources and complementary presentations related to Muslims and Islam; Provides accurate information about Islamic beliefs and practices; and Seeks to foster a sustainable relationship between public institutions and the Muslim community.

ING MidWest is an affiliate of the Islamic Network Group (ING) Speakers Bureau,. The policies of ING member organizations include:

    ING MidWest Speakers

    All ING MidWest speakers complete intensive training and pass competency exams on content knowledge, and presentation style.

    • They follow pre-designed presentations that complement the required curriculum in schools, or fit specific needs of other audiences.
    • Presentations are academic (objective and neutral), not devotional. Speakers strive for audience awareness of Islam and never press for audience acceptance of Islam.
    • In relating Islam to other religions, a speaker neither promotes nor denigrates any religion
