ING MidWest Educational Programs
ING MidWest works with educational institutions to complement the study of religions in the World History, Social Sciences and World Religions units which cover Islam. They also provide cultural competency training for educators.
ING MidWest offers cultural competency presentations to health and social services professionals. These programs help educate health professionals in caring for Muslim patients.
ING MidWest works with law enforcement officers to familiarize them with Islamic principles, cultures, and etiquettes.
ING MidWest is committed to building bridges between people of differing faiths. The presentation covers the basics of Islamic beliefs and practices, highlighting areas of common ground between faiths, and emphasizing how we can work together to promote a more just and compassionate society. ING MidWest speakers have been key presenters in various interfaith events at many institutions. Whether as participants in the Ministry Fair, interfaith events, local churches, synagogues, temples or mosques, ING MidWest speakers have always been recognized for relevant content, professionalism, and objectivity.
ING MidWest offers Islamic resources for educators and students, as well as pamphlets, web-based information, and PowerPoint presentations that meet the needs of our clients. We also offer teacher training seminars that are available upon request.
